Theresa Street hosts the legendary “Theresa Street Summer Classic” wiffle ball tournament.
We’re in the process of finalizing the dates for our 2024 events, which will include bowling, a 5k, kickball, wiffleball, pickleball, golf, and a concert. Follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date!
Theresa Street Kickball Tournament
Our inaugural kickball tournament to raise money for the Dartmouth High ATLAS program. Sixteen teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament with the championship played under the stadium lights. Spectator tickets will be available for $3. The concession stands will also be open.
The program supports graduated students with special needs and hinges around six “focus standards,” or goals, which include independence and self-advocacy, household skills, health and wellness, hygiene and self-care, community involvement, managing money, and vocational skills. Specifically, proceeds from our Kickball Tournament will go towards an accessible bus to get students to and from the program!

Theresa Street 5k - Harbor Run
Theresa Street is hosting its third annual 5k to benefit Dartmouth and New Bedford Unified Sports. Unified Sports is a platform that brings together students with and without disabilities using sports as the vehicle to practice inclusivity and acceptance. Similar to varsity athletics, Unified Sports teams compete against other schools, and with their blended roster, it’s difficult to leave a Unified Sporting event without a smile on your face!
The event will begin with a "Unified Lap" at 10:00 am, where all Unified athletes complete a lap around the track; 5k runners are encouraged to cheer on! There will then be a few words from the Unified coaches and Theresa Street team before the race starts. The race will start at Dartmouth High School and end in Padanaram Village. There will be free buses running every 30 minutes back to the high school.

The 15th Theresa Summer Classic
The Summer Classic is Theresa Street’s premier annual event and fundraiser, attracting hundreds of participants and raising tens of thousands of dollars ($32,000 in 2022).
This year, Theresa Street is celebrating its 15th tournament and raising funds for New Bedford Star Kids, a program that provides educational opportunities in the form of tuition aid to effective nonpublic schools, uniforms, after-school and summer programs, tutoring and mentoring for high-risk, low-income children who have a parent with a history of incarceration and/or substance abuse.
