Dartmouth Unified Sports
Dartmouth Unified Sports utilized the fundraising efforts from Theresa St. this year to purchase new uniforms for our Unified Track team and to offset some of the cost of transportation for our Unified Bowling Club. We are greatly appreciative of the largesse of the Theresa St. family in ensuring our programs have the opportunity to grow and continue.

New Bedford Unified Sports
We are going to use our funding to buy new uniforms for our Track and Field Team. For the past few years, we have had t-shirts for track and field events. This year we would like to get real Track and Field uniforms. We were also thinking of getting new Unified Basketball jerseys for our team.

Caring Network
Theresa Street was crucial to our ability to provide services to children last year. We met with 225 youth between the ages of 3-14. Each child was provided a supply bag that included markers, crayons, colored pencils, fidgets, and a mini notebook. I wish I could bottle up the smiles and joy on the children's faces when we tell them on the first day of group that they will get to keep everything in their bag. It's the best part of my day and I always worry I'm not able to fully convey how much happiness it brings to the kids. It truly makes a difference to them and I wish more people had a chance to experience that.
We were also able to provide a family with food gift cards around Thanksgiving last year. The family had three small children and were struggling financially as their rent increased as it turned colder and started to add heating expenses. We also had a parent that we were concerned may be living in an unsafe situation and shared with us that she was worried her phone was going to be taken away. With your funding, we were able to go out to Walmart and purchase a pre-paid phone with minutes so that she had the resources needed to ask for help and leave an unsafe situation if she needed.

North Star Learning Centers
Normally a donation would go to a specific program and have direct impact. This past year Theresa Streets Capital Campaign (Reaching For The Stars) contribution led to the successful closing for the construction of the new 17,000+ sf Early Learning Academy & Community Center that will provide education and child care services to 135 underprivileged children.

Tyler J Leonard Memorial Foundation
The Tyler Joseph Leonard Memorial Foundation has developed a collaborative partnership with Kaleb Joseph - The Self Help Tour In doing so, we have begun a speaker series at local high schools to start the conversation about mental health awareness and finding your true identity. The funding from Theresa Street helps us continue our sponsorship of Kaleb to bring his authentic message of finding what's on the other side of vulnerability while navigating life's adversities and obtaining a unique version of wholeness. Thus far, we have been able to present to New Bedford High, Dartmouth High. We have Westport High on the books for December 2023 and verbal commitments from Fairhaven High and Bourne High for early 2024.
Thank you to Theresa Street for helping to provide resources for us to continue spreading the message of mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

Learn to Cope
We are so grateful to again receive an extremely generous donation from Theresa Street this year from the proceeds raised from the golf tournament. The holiday season approaches and this can be an especially difficult time for families who are grieving loss, or raising grandchildren or just grappling with the difficult journey Substance use brings. All proceeds raised will assist some of our grandfamilies to help them provide a happy holiday for their grandchildren as well as any family in need within Learn to Cope. As usual, all our donations go directly to the needs of our families which also includes mindfulness and self-care.
